Ceeform plugs and sockets are internationally recognised as a standardised connection type frequently used in industrial and commercial settings. Based on the International Electrotechnical Commission’s standard, IEC 60309, Ceeform connectors are compatible with equipment that has been imported from overseas.

RackLink can supply Ceeform plugs and sockets for the Australasian market in 3-pin (Blue) or 5-pin (Red) configurations, with a power rating of 16A, 32A & beyond. We can also supply Ceeform plugs and sockets with IP ratings of either IP44 or IP67 to meet the requirements of different use cases.

IEC 60309 Commando Plugs And Sockets

Also referred to as Commando plugs and sockets, Ceeform connectors are ideal choice for powering equipment or appliances that require a steady supply of electricity. Commando plugs have a built-in locking mechanism — which catches on the connector lid (IP44) or screws into the mating connector (IP67), preventing accidental disconnects due to sudden movement or displacement. Commando plugs and sockets also have a robust design that offers electrical protection against weather and physical impact. In the IP67 rating, Commando plugs can withstand water exposure for up to 1 metre and are resistant to environmental moisture and dust. Once connected in the locked position, commando plugs can continue supplying consistent power even without the risk of short circuits from liquid exposure.
