IEC (60320) PDU Outlets

The IEC 60320 standard covers a variety of sockets/outlets & plugs/inlets which are intended for general equipment usage worldwide. (In Australia: 220-240V AC @ 50Hz). The smaller form factor of these IEC (60320) outlets allows for high-density stacking of power outlets on a PDU, within the rack environment.

RackLink provide Rack Mount PDUs with either IEC C13 10A or IEC C19 16A outlets (or a mix of both), in both Horizontal (1RU, 2RU etc.,) or Vertical (0RU) mounting. There are also options to mix and match IEC (60320) with GPO (AS3112) outlets in a Rack Mount PDU.

Applications for IEC Power Boards

Our IEC power boards are designed and built to provide consistent and safe levels of power supply to a range of electrical equipment in a rack mount configuration and are suitable for supporting enterprise or industrial-level servers, data centre racks PDUs, and other electrical equipment. Unlike loose/ePOD models of power strips, IEC power boards can be mounted directly onto the same server rack as equipment, making them an efficient space-saving solution, especially for cable management.

Built to comply with AS/NZS 3100 standard, RackLink’s IEC power boards can be fitted with a variety of plugs or inlets to suit your current installation. In Australia, IEC 60320 outlets are rated at 220-240V AC @ 50Hz). IEC power boards for rack-mounted PDUs include C13 and C19 connectors.

• Available with IEC (60320) C13 10A and C19 16A outlet types Up to 20x outlets in 1RU or 45x outlets in vertical 0RU for high-capacity racks

• Built-in circuit breaker for electrical safeguard against overload (thermal-only “Push-to-Reset”, Thermal-Magnetic or Hydraulic-magnetic breaker options)

• Standard Vertical mounting sizes of 0.5m (11RU) up to 1.7m (40RU)

• Standard Horizontal mounting sizes of 1RU, 2RU & 3RU

• Supports a wide range of input connectors, including GPO (AS3112), IEC (60320), Bare end, Captive/Clipsal (flat pin and round pin configurations) & IEC (60309)/CeeForm

Is there a warranty for purchased IEC Power Boards?

As part of our commitment to delivering quality electrical products, RackLink offers a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty on all our products. We provide a full repair or replacement for any faulty RackLink branded products for 5 years from the date of purchase.

How often do IEC Power Boards need replacement?

There is no fixed lifespan for an IEC power board — the extent of usage, frequency of maintenance, and condition of the unit all contribute to how long it will continue to operate optimally and safely. However, clear signs such as damaged cords, broken outlets, or electrical smoke or sparks indicate that the power board needs immediate replacement.
